These are some of the designs I came up with, even though I was leaning more towards a female character I still did designs for both sex as, even though I want to do a female character I didn't want to limit myself to just that.
I took insporation for the male character from Sun WuKong (孙悟空), he is a chrarcter from a famous chinese novel called Journey to the West. Furthermore, recently I have been playing a lot of Wukong from League of Legends so I decided for my male character I will do a Wukong like character.
For the female character, she don't have an detailed origin like the male character as I didn't really take insporation from anything.
